Mattresses in good condition (no stains, no sag, less than ~5 years old) may be accepted by local nonprofits. Acceptance varies by organization and inventory.

Springs, foam, and fabric are all recyclable. We route to mattress recyclers where programs are available and accepting loads.

Landfill: last resort
Stained, soiled, or damaged mattresses that aren't accepted for donation or recycling go to landfill. We're transparent about this.

Mattress recycling infrastructure in NC is limited. We route to the best available option: donation or recycling when accepted, landfill otherwise. We won't tell you it's definitely recycled if we can't confirm that.

We take mattresses with bed bug exposure. Our crew wraps and seals them before moving through the home so the problem stays contained. Let us know when you book so we're prepared.

We Attempt to Recycle or Donate Before the Landfill

Clean mattresses in usable condition go to local nonprofits first. When mattress recycling is available through area recycling facilities, we use it. A mattress going straight to the dump is our last option, not the default.

Stairs and Tight Hallways Are Not Extra

King and queen mattresses on upper floors are the most common challenge we see. We carry them through staircases, around tight corners, and out the front door. There's no stair surcharge. It's just part of the job.
